AMA card for 2006 will be required to register and participate at
this event. -- Any helicopter pilot who intends to fly a Turbine Powered Helicopter must show a valid AMA Turbine Waiver Document at the time of registration for this event. -- Pilots using 50-53 MHz (Ham Band Transmitters) must show a copy of their FCC issued Amateur Radio License before a frequency-pin will be issued. |

This event will follow
the format of AMA 518
Scale Helicopter Contest. A printer friendly version is
available at SCALE RULES To ensure a timely start, Pre-Registration is REQUIRED (Registration materials to be received prior to Friday morning 5/19/2006) Super-Scale static judging will be based on Fidelity to Documentation (Three-View drawings and Photos of Full-Size subject are REQUIRED) Helicopter must be flown (15 second Hover is the only MANDATORY maneuver) |

(A Photo of the Full-Size subject is the only documentation required) Helicopter must be flown (15 second Hover is the only MANDATORY maneuver) |

Helicopter Models Will Be Allowed To Participate NOTE: Definition of "Scale Helicopter Model" is: --Anything in a "Fuselage" resembling a Full Size subject, --Anything with a Multi-Blade Head (3+ blades) -- Pilots will be required to stand at designated "Pilot Positions" and to fly beyond a designated Dead-Line during this event. -- Exception: Pilots are NOT RESTRICTED to flying from the Pilot's Box and may walk behind their aircraft while participating in specific Fun-Fly competitive events. |
